Lifesavers is a winter scene found on the beach in front of the Drake Devonshire Hotel. The clouds, waves, snow, and stacked life buoys create a canvas that emphasizes the strong sense of isolation humankind feels due to the juxtaposition of natural landscape with solitary manmade constructs.
