Description

The Window Series is an ongoing experiment in the abstraction of windows. The images were captured on expired 35 mm Kodak Gold colour film. The philosopher Hans Vaihinger said in The Philosophy of ‘As If’ that “imagination or belief can be more influential than reality.” He explains that we create falsehoods in order to live peacefully in an irrational world. The abstracted views help to calm and distract me.
