In my studio, my shelves are full of the nostalgic things collected over a lifetime. Each piece holds a memory, a story of my travels near and far, of the people and places cherished. This still life grew its own fanciful narrative of happy creative birds making nests amongst my things in the night.Dark blue linen is embroidered freely using my basic domestic sewing machine as my drawing tool.
