In my studio, my shelves are full of the nostalgic things collected over a lifetime. This embroidery celebrates some of these pieces together in a still life detail composition that has grown into its own fanciful narrative.
Collaged silks are embroidered using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool. Framed ready to hang.
