I love drawing birds and flowers. In this playful heart shaped piece two love birds share their joy.
Bright and metallic threads are embroidered onto appliquéd silks using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool, as I stitch freely over the surface creating rich textures, patterns and images.
