Description

This painting is the expression of my healing process as I experience the grief of losing a dear loved one. My grandmother and I used to play a duet called Heart and Soul, among many other short songs. They will always be with us, seen in the piano keys pressed to the lower left of my hands. I represent a constant state of longing for the past, yet being grateful for the precious time you were able to spend with them.
