Ripple Necklace

Description

This "ripple" necklace is made from multiple large links, each carved from wax, and gently melted over a flame. This results in every link being unique. Two links are reticulated (a technique used to manipulate the surface of metal) as accents, along with the clasp which was made from fused wires. The integration of coin and baroque pearls complete the necklace, as its name comes from the links resembling ripples in water created from stone skipping, and the pearls represent the thrown stone.
