Description

Untitled was made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and first shown at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery for the Confined exhibition of 2022. Exuberant gestures of bright blue and orange play across its undulating surface, animating the piece from within. It is a meditation on inner strength and solitude as well as the desire for connection, unfolding dynamically from every angle. The vessel is glazed clear on the inside to hold liquid, and polished smooth to the touch on the exterior.
