Description

Untitled is evocative of earth meeting sky. Bands of chocolate brown and mint green soar through and around the voluptuous lobes of the vessel, alternating with creamy ribbons of peach and pink. The interplay of earthy and summery hues result in a work that is full of contradictions: grounded and ethereal, vigorous and delicate, robust yet fluid. Slip cast with a unique painterly treatment, glazed clear on the interior to hold liquid, polished silky smooth on the exterior.
