Description

It is a matter of perspective to determine what side of this sculpture you see as day and which is night. The contrasting texture can be a cloudy day or night. The rays are connected from front to back and back to front to reflect the continuous nature of day turning to night and night to day. In addition, the small curve at the top corner of the sculpture is negative space representing both the sun and the moon.
