Description

Wall Sculpture inspired by a scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a Spanish moss leaf trichome (Tillandsia usneoides). Spanish Moss is not a moss but an epiphytic bromeliad, a plant which lives on other plants but does not harm them. The leaf trichomes are scale-like in appearance, used for water absorption.
Each piece has a hole in the back that is meant to fit to sit on an angled nail for secure hanging.
