Description

The Pensive One' is a quiet thoughtful mask, secure in her aloneness. .This is paper mâché and canvas with wool, semi-precious stones, beads and twigs mounted on an 18" x 18" painted and framed birchwood panel. The interior includes an acorn Mandala with beads and costume jewelry set on a background of glazed fabric and tissue paper. This mask was made for a ritual even though that ritual does not exist.
