In my textile collages, I use cloth more like I would use paint. The delicate and fragile process of layering small pieces together is important to the meaning of the work. It is about the thin line between deep connections and falling apart. I am fascinated with connecting and transforming materials into something new and unexpected. “more than she seeks" is about connecting to your inner child, the inward-looking, and how your childhood imprinted you. I use the nest as a symbol of new life
