Thanks to Tiffany Pratt and our artists for the lively conversations yesterday.
Catch the Artist Chat between Karim Machado-Aman and Esther Slevinsky today. These conversations are a great chance to get to know some Online Only artists. The Studio Tour today is with student artist Mesoma Onyeagba.
TOAF is known as a discovery platform for new voices and fresh faces. Hundreds of emerging and student artists have joined us to bring fresh perspectives and ideas. We invite you to take some time to get to know them and support their work.
This year, in the Student Zone, OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers awarded eight artists and designers the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair Career Launchers prize to participate online and in-person. It is also the first year we are hosting a GradEx 2022 showcase with award-winning artist Aleena Derohanian from the Material Art & Design program. We are thrilled about this new collaboration and can’t wait to see Aleena’s booth on the Square.
We leave you with Curated Collections of the day, Human Nature by Miranda Britton and Ray of Sunshine by Shellie Zheng, highlighting a snapshot of a bright future ahead.
