StreetARToronto Returns to TOAF

Art outside the gallery

Dear Friend of TOAF,

TOAF63 is only 15 days away!!

We’re excited that StreetARToronto (StART) is returning for another season! Discover the vibrant energy that graffiti artists and muralists bring to our urban landscape—connecting us to our environment. These artists transform our city into an open-air gallery with their artwork directly on streets, electrical boxes, and in parks.

Together with StART, we are excited to present another dynamic program featuring live painting, a nested exhibition, and dedicated booths of street artists at Nathan Phillips Square.

Watch talented mural and street artists—including Phade, Jennifer Messon, Marg Cresswell, Kreecha, Hyedie Hashimoto, and Jasmine Vanstone— create artwork live and in-person. Artworks are available for $500 each and will be on display at the StreetARToronto booth—make sure to get there quickly because these paintings are always in high demand!

Then browse through the StART exhibition that features the evolution of StART projects throughout its 12-year history, using Toronto’s unique architecture as its framework.

One more thing not to miss! We are offering a special tour: On Saturday, July 13 at 12:30 PM, join Cindy Scaife, artist and senior curator of the Richmond Street Cycle Track Art Project, to learn about trend setting concrete barrier murals that help keep the city moving!

Fittingly for today, we have a Curated Collection from Cathy Bisset Parkes titled, “Hot Town – Summer in the City“!

See you all in 15 days,
TOAF Team
