Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor and online art fair

TOAF will take place July 12 – 14, 2024.

Our Hearts are Full <3

What an epic and bustling weekend it was. We are still buzzing from it, and our hearts are full.

The response from the artists, community, audiences, partners, supporters and media is overwhelmingly joyful. We couldn’t have asked for a better show.

We wish we could give a handwritten personal note to every single one of you who made #TOAF62 yet another smashing success. We hope this note captures that sentiment and communicates our excitement and appreciation.

Here is a giant, heartfelt thank you to our public funders, foundations, award donorssponsorsjudgesjurorscuratorsspeakers, our out-of-this-world volunteers, programming, media, and community partners, our Board of Directors and the TOAF team

The support, love and encouragement that you, our dear art lovers, visitors and collectors extend to the artists make this show a stellar economic success for our artists. See the collage of coveted RED DOTS below. This is a logistically challenging show, being outdoors, we’re at the weather’s mercy. We are lucky that the weather was gentle with our artists during the Fair. You make this worthwhile for all of us.

To you, our dear artists, it is such a privilege to work with you. You open your hearts and warmly welcome us into your worlds. Our city, neighbourhoods and homes would be dull and empty without you. ❤️‍

Before we say goodbye, we would like to ask you a favour. We need your help to capture TOAF’s impact on artists’ careers and the City’s cultural fabric. Please take 5 minutes to fill out this survey as part of our Economic Impact Study by July 23 – it matters a lot to us.

Pictures and highlights of the Fair as our final memento of TOAF62 will be in your inbox shortly.

Thank you

TOAF’s expansion and newly launched programs and initiatives are made possible by attracting support from three levels of government, private and corporate funders, small businesses and many generous individuals.

We would like to acknowledge the support from the Government of Canada – FedDev Ontario for the Tourism Relief Fund & Canada Summer Jobs, The Department of Canadian Heritage, Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund, Ontario Arts Council, the Government of Ontario, Bureau du Québec à Toronto and the City of Toronto.

Art Encounters‘ growth is made possible with support from the Lindy Green Family Foundation, TD Bank Group, Higgins Event Rentals and individual donors.

Henderson Brewing Co. yet again knocked it out of the park with an exclusive craft brew and hosted our audiences in the Beer Garden.

Heartfelt thanks to The Koffler Family Foundation and members of the Koffler family for your steadfast support of TOAF artists for 62 years.

We need your help

We are conducting an Economic Impact Study with Nordicity, Canada’s leading arts and culture impact measurement firm.

We are passionate about optimizing and improving TOAF and our impact on our community. Only with direct feedback and collaboration can we achieve that. This study will help us advocate for space, government funding, and sponsorships.
