TOAF64 is Bursting with New Talent & Energy!

OCAD U’s GradEx and Career Launchers bring the magic to the square

Dear Friend of TOAF,

I can’t tell you how proud and excited we are to share this with you.

You all know that TOAF’s Student Zone has always been one of the most electric corners of the Fair since day one. Its reputation is etched in the memory of loyal fans and collectors who fondly tell us, “We collected them before they took off.” Our community takes pride in that fact and nostalgia.

This year continues that legacy with another bright and brilliant roster of voices.

We’re thrilled to welcome back the recipients of OCAD University’s Career Launcher Awards, presented by the RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers, alongside a vibrant GradEx pop-up. We had a blast visiting GradEx and were truly blown away by the raw energy and promise of the next wave of Canadian contemporary artists. And now, we get to bring a slice of that magic to the Square for you.

Even more exciting, our expansion of the Art Encounters: Access & Outreach Program to include New Generation Artists has attracted phenomenal emerging talent and first-time participants.

It’s these dynamic dialogues between established artists and fresh new voices that keep TOAF relevant, surprising and exciting year after year. We can’t wait to share it all with you this July.

And don’t forget to catch our Digital Programming as it rolls out, follow us on Instagram and join us for upcoming Studio Visits, including an inside look at Audrey Arsenault, exhibiting exclusively online.

With joy,
Sophie & Lili at TOAF
