Day 6 of #TOAF59 – Visit this year’s Community Booths!

Sold on Day 5: Man Wai Wu, 'L080829', 2020, oil on canvas

Dear Friend of TOAF,

Every year, we partner with artist-run centres and nonprofit galleries to showcase an exciting selection of their members at our fair. This year is no different. We are honoured to share our virtual platform with Tangled Art + Disability, who are dedicated to enhancing opportunities for artists with disabilities to contribute to the cultural fabric of our society. We’ve also invited independent artist and disability advocate Adam Cohoon to curate a collection of stand-out works from this year’s roster.

As part of our community programming, we are showcasing members of artists collectives: F8 Photography CollectiveTemino Jewellery, and Toronto Potters! We invite you to visit their virtual community booths and get to know their artists.

In addition to Adam Cohoon’s picks, we also have another collection of outstanding craft and design objects below by Danielle Suppa, who has brought the dreamy magic of Souvenir Studios into her choices. Don't forget that new works are being added daily, so make sure you come back and continue to enjoy the visual feast our artists have laid out for you online.

On Thursday, July 9th, we will be announcing our highly-anticipated award winners, so mark your calendars! Details to follow.
