Announcing Toronto Online Art Fair 2020

Today we are sharing our plans for the 59th edition of Toronto Outdoor Art Fair with you.

From July 2–12, 2020 we will continue to bring the artists and the public together, as we have every July since 1961, through an online edition of TOAF aptly adapted as Toronto Online Art Fair.

While we will miss our annual gathering in-person at Nathan Phillips Square, we have swiftly created an opportunity for our juried roster of artists to showcase and sell their works through TOAF’s website and our vast network. Our loyal visitors can continue to support their favourite seasoned artists and discover exciting new talents by engaging with artists online and purchasing artworks effortlessly.

This online edition will include key exciting offers for artists and the public such as our coveted Awards Program, Art Talks, Art Tours and virtual events with our programming partners at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery and StreetARToronto

As a charitable non-profit, we exist solely to connect visual artists and contemporary makers to art lovers and buyers. We are here to celebrate artists’ entrepreneurial spirit, make their career progression financially viable, and enable discovery and recognition opportunities.

Every year, 130,000 avid art lovers and collectors gather to support our artists by spending $2 million dollars on art purchases. This moment calls on all of us to collectively rise to the occasion and reassure our artists of the vitality and sustainability of their careers.

As we finalize the exciting details of the Fair, we invite you to mark your calendars for July 2–12. Start planning for new art inspirations to enter your workplace, home or the home of someone you love!

Warm regards,

anahita azrahimi, Executive & Creative Director,
and the entire TOAF team and Board of Directors
