It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 58th edition of Toronto Outdoor Art Fair. Once again, we are celebrating the coming together of over 370 contemporary visual artists and makers and 115,000 art lovers in a place that is free of walls and admission fees; one that is radically welcoming.
What you’ll find on the square is an exciting mix of fresh talents and seasoned artists who have created a true visual feast for you to enjoy and take home.
Art: Unwalled is our theme this year, a nod to our core belief that art should be available and accessible to everyone: art for all, art for the heart and art for the mind – with no barriers! Our programming promises to bring you just that.
TOAF’s magnetic ArtLove Envoy, Tiffany Pratt, will persuade you to re-imagine your everyday life with your home filled with art that you love. The creative PowerKids workshops by our friends at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, our special family art collecting chats and art buying zone for those 14 years old and under – colour blasted by Tiffany Pratt’s signature design – will help convert your young ones into enthusiastic art collectors and lovers.
Chason Yeboah’s Home Birth installation, Anandan Dance Theatre’s moving human glaciers in Glaciology, Jonathon Anderson’s boundary pushing sculpture CMYK Geodesic Sphere guaranteed to nurture your curious minds. Our thought-provoking talks at Partial Lounge including a live recording of Wag the Doug presented by CANADALAND will ensure you have food for thought for days to come.
If that’s not enough, our friends at StreetARToronto will treat you to action-packed live painting performance by some of Toronto’s beloved graffiti artists.
Make sure to take a break from all the action and relax at our unique Cascading Beer Garden by Henderson Brewing Co. and enjoy a sip of our exclusive craft beer bearing the art label of Kima Lenaghan.
