Wayson R. Jones

In this body of work, I am interested in the ideas of the integration of form and color, the physiological perception of complementary color, and the effects of contrasting textures. The pieces continue my engagement with a materiality-based approach to art making, and a commitment to the creation of visually impactful objects. In their vivid coloration, these works are both an extension of (in terms of texture and density) and a departure from my predominant use of black and white.
