Julian Amati-Lecours
As a Toronto-based Artist Blacksmith, my goal is to blur the line between art and function. I believe There is a fundamental difference between an art piece that is SEEN and an object that is USED. When an object is used it disappears and becomes an embodiment of its function; a hammer hammers, a cup cups, A light lights, etc. When a functional object is turned into art, so is the function itself.
All of my art is functional. All of my crafts are sculptural. When you interact with a piece by Tap ‘N Anvil / Amati Forge, your interaction is part of the art.
All of my prices include HST. Delivery on some pieces are free within Toronto city limits.
