Jen Lipski is a Canadian Artist, born and raised in southern Ontario and currently working from her studio-gallery in rural Niagara. She first launched her career in 2010 as a traditional wildlife painter before discovering her passion for blacksmithing, metal art, and pyrography. She earned her BFA in 2013 from OCAD University in Toronto where she studied drawing and painting, printmaking, and metal fabrication.
She now works full time as a wildlife artist, sculptor and blacksmith. Her work integrates alternative techniques such as forging, burning, carving, staining, and acid patinas with rustic backgrounds of wood and metal, incorporating the raw qualities of these materials into her expressive and detailed portraits inspired by our relationships with animals and nature.
