I am a full time painter, with a BFA from York University and am based in Port Perry, Ontario.
In my current series of work entitled "The Sandwich Collection", explores the most basic staples of food, created through Mixed Media. Each work is a Still Life study of today's most common foods. To add to the visual effects of each creation, the sandwiches project a low to medium relief from the surface of the canvas, to provide a 3D appearance. The components used to build each sandwich, are created with a wide variety materials that convey their shape, texture and colour in a Pop Art flavor.
