The long flowing lines of calligraphy join with the structured volume of modern architecture to inspire my work. Airy and delicate yet robust and solid, I design jewelry in wire to enhance the natural joy and beauty of the wearer. Viking knit is a form of metalworking I keep coming back to. Tactile, yet strong and flexible, I love the sleek look of classic shapes and strive to integrate hints of colour and unexpected textures. Exhibitions and publications have included: The Art of the Bimbo (Woman Made Gallery, Chicago IL 2022) The Earring Show (Craft Council of BC 2020-21), and 500 Earrings (Lark Books). I’m a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths living and creating in Oshawa, CA.
