Corin Ford Forrester
Corin Ford Forrester is an Ontario based fine art photographer who creates images that encourage reflection on the beauty and significance of the natural world. She uses digital techniques, in a process similar to painting with a brush, to blend multiple images. The resulting photographs contain unexpected juxtapositions and new patterns.
A graduate of the Fleming College Photo Arts Program at Haliburton School of Art & Design (2007), she also has a Bachelor of Science honours degree from the University of Guelph (1999). She has experience teaching in both the photography and the science world.
Corin’s work has been exhibited at numerous art festivals and galleries in Ontario. She won an honourable mention in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, in the Professional Fine Art category, and had her work exhibited at FotoNostrum Gallery in Barcelona Spain during the spring of 2023. Art enthusiasts visit her home studio each October on the respected Studio Tour Haliburton Highlands and experience the lakes and forests that inspire much of her work.
