Anastasia Eve
Hi! My name is Anastasia, I am a Toronto-based artist. A nomad at heart, I love to create and explore. I first moved all by myself when I was 17, from the other side of the world to the evergreen Vancouver, BC - to study civil engineering, no less. It opened my eyes to the power of art as a universal language, and ultimately led me to become a professional artist. I have been inspired by many wonderful people on this journey, and strive to bring an equally strong work ethic and skillset to my creative career.
My work is usually described as magic realism; vibrant, dreamlike, emotional. It has been featured by Street Art Toronto, Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, Infected by Art, Beautiful Bizarre Art Magazine, and others. Whether I am spray painting a mural, working digitally, or cooking something up in the studio with a mix of oils, pastels, and gold leaf, I am inviting the viewer to connect with their inner self, and to celebrate the beauty and mystery of life.
