The Cycle
- Artist
- Robyn Bragg
- Description
-
A complex building is surmounted by a celestial diagram. Celestial diagrams illustrated medieval and renaissance ideas of how the cosmos worked, trying to make sense of the world.
This piece is a metaphor for the self and the spinning cycles of anxiety were the brain tries to make sense of things, plan for all possible outcomes, and prevent bad things from happening, and keep oneself safe.
