I feel these works are some sort of intervention on a body or territory with all these incisions, trenches, and light passing through. They start revealing some kind of geography of uncharted land, bodies showing their inner structure. "If a fissure beneath" is an invitation to see deep into the cracks where light bends, distorts, and begins to fade.
