Description

'Mūndū' seeks to capture the kaleidoscopic nature of personhood. 'The self' evolves constantly, shaped by personal experiences, cultural backgrounds (and the boundaries they impose) as well as the passage of time. Expressed in a combination of abstract, realist and illustrative styles, 'Mūndū, insinuates the intangible dimension of a person that escapes knowability. Materials applied, like treated onion skins for flowers and paper towels for the dress, symbolize the strata of lived experience.
