HMCS JAVELIN

Although menacing in appearance
the JAVELIN’S aggressive looking bow played no part in battle.
Simply a decoration to bluff the enemy. It’s primary deployment as a sub hunter was unrivalled by any other ship in use with the sinking of 35 subs in one month alone.
Utilizing not one but three sonar towers nothing underwater could escape her view.
