What’s a monotype? It’s a special, one-off print. No two are the same. Each one is hand-crafted, layer by layer, on a special surface. Then everything is lifted off onto paper.

I didn’t use a coloured stain when I looked at this under the microscope. There were so many pretty pink streaks through the piece of stem I was examining, it would have been a shame to cover them up.

This 8" x 10" piece is matted for a 12" x 16" frame.
