This piece is part of Frugal Thriving, a series of illustrations depicting inventive methods to thrive on a low budget in today’s capitalist society. They exhibit an unorthodox yet fruitful lifestyle while critiquing the flaws of capitalist society. They explain why so many are forced to be frugal and eliminate the shame imposed on the economically challenged.
