Prairie Lily

Part of my Saskatchewanian series, inspired by the most emblematic wild flowers of the province I've call home.

I use a propane and oxygen torch to melt glass rods and sculpt the molten glass into each flower, leaf or berry individually using a few hand tools such as tweezers. The glass components are then arranged and set in handmade wooden bases.
