Looking at the photo at Dufferin Station and celebration of 100 years of TTC inspired me to do this watercolor painting.
In 1995, near Nathan Philip Square in Toronto, people were lining up to board the streetcar, which was a popular mode of transportation. The streetcar system had been a fixture in Toronto since the late 19th century and was an iconic symbol of the city.
