My work expresses the emotional landscapes I navigate daily as someone who often feels like a passerby in society. Through layered Hanji paper, I create abstract landscapes that reflect depth, illusion, and ambiguity. These forms mirror my experiences of uncertainty—particularly in language and cultural understanding—where things feel both familiar and elusive, clear and obscure. The process of layering becomes a way to explore these in-between spaces.
