The Basilica di San Pietro di Castello, originally constructed in the 16th century and replacing a pre-existing 7th century cathedral, is here depicted beneath the Romanesque arches of the Rialto market. The print, part of a series of artworks, examines the relationship between sociological and economic changes as they are reflected in the architectural environment.
