I'm a multi-disciplinary intervention artist who elevates familiar spaces, objects and imagery into opportunities for joy and empowerment. My art uses levity to create space for resilience and resistance in a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming. What began as my personal response life within late-stage capitalism has become a rebellion against our growing collective isolation, and a reclamation of materials that harm our environments and our minds. There's power in transforming the detritus of our society into art with lasting messages of hope, grace and humour.
Rather than resist the absurdities of our world, I embrace them, letting that absurdity shape and inform my practice. My art is a reminder that joy can be found/created even in the darkest or most mundane places, and that each of us holds the ability to initiate positive change - even by being silly (maybe especially by being silly).
