Paige Bowen

Richmond Hill
Nathan Phillips Square
Booth 8

Paige Bowen is a multidisciplinary artist, student, and creative. She graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University in April 2024, and will be furthering her education with the Fibre Arts and Artist Blacksmith programs at Fleming College. Paige draws on her family history with textile arts and her experience as an international nomad to explore ideas of home and connection, both to family and nature, as well as isolation. Recently, she has completed a series detailing her connection with her home country, South Africa, and how this connection has been affected by her constant migration and subsequent lack of stability. Paige works with a multitude of mediums and materials, including, but not limited to, woodcarving, textile art, and oil painting. She hopes to create more in the future, delve into installation, and further her material knowledge and practice.
