Description

This work is aimed at conveying the process in which two seemingly different surfaces and textures begin to intertwine, similar to the assimilation of migrants. The discarded handwoven textile stands as metaphor for political borders and is the artist's attempt at preserving a piece of culturally significant object 9traditional handwoven rug) that otherwise would be thrown away.
