This work is part of a group blind embossment prints on paper depicting Lichens, which are largely found on the medieval castle wall. These resilient organisms endure harsh environments, embodying spontaneous beauty in their slow grow journey. The subtle shading created by the raised paper provides a sense of calm and tranquility, which reinforces the natural characteristics of the lichens: low key but no less significance in the eco system.
