Description

Hand screen print of my drawings of pollinator plants using black walnut ink on vintage linen.
I created the inks using local black walnut hulls and modified the colour slightly by using mordants.

The process to create the piece included a series of drawings I did with ink on paper looking at local Ontario pollinator plants including black eyed susan, goldenrod and asters as well as different butterflies.

Gorgeous as a bed cover, table cloth or wall tapestry.
