I love to set up still life’s to draw from in my studio. When my husband came home with a huge case of gorgeous clementines, all I could think about was drawing them, just a bit inspired by the Old Masters like Hulsdonck. This piece evolved to include the Queen of Clementines sharing these little orange jewels.The oatmeal linen ground is embroidered freely using a basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool. Framed within a 16”x 16” contemporary white wood frame, ready to hang.
