My studio shelves are brimming with pieces collected near and far over a lifetime. I love setting up still life’s including these things. Each of the pieces selected for this still life connects me to the people and places I cherish. I am comforted by and take joy in celebrating these connections through drawing and stitching new narratives to share.The dark blue linen ground is embroidered freely using a basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool. Framed ready to hang.
