Description

A playful composition of busy creative birds their notions and scissors on hand as they sew garments using a vintage sewing machine. Bright and metallic threads are embroidered onto appliquéd silks using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool, as I stitch freely over the surface creating rich texture, pattern and image.
