The Watcher : Inspired by Mingan Archipelago

Off the northern shore of Quebec, the sea has been sculpting limestone for thousands of years. This particular column stopped me immediately. Look long enough and you see a face, gentle, curious, patient. A dog. A guardian. A watcher. Standing in the Gulf waters with the quiet patience of something ancient. There is something deeply peaceful about being watched by something that has seen everything and remains completely still.
