Description

Across from our home our neighbour leads his cattle into this green pasture to graze. Alteration of this landscape is the result of more than a century of farming. Receding blue silos point to the next land interruption by housing developers. Murray's Silos becomes an idealized documentation of a disappearing rural way of life and received the 2022 Ellen Langlands Award at the Insights Art Exhibition. Given the medium I prefer that anyone interested in purchasing first see the work in person.
