HMCS PICCOLOO, was a slender and elongated vessel crafted from oak and reinfired with resin in the late 1800’s. Despite its unconventional construction, the PICCOLOO was a formidable war submarine, designed for stealthy incursions and surprise attacks against enemy harbours as it could roll over and resemble a log to the untrained eye.
