Description

After obsessively painting pie slices, I was looking for a way to paint pie without actually painting a pie. This lead to the making of the pie: the recipe and raw ingredients as a still life. I solely paint from life which gives the ability to stand over my still life set up and view both the tops of items as well as the fronts just by stepping back. The result is a slightly odd perspective.
