The exasperation from motherhood peaked during the lockdown months of the pandemic which happened to be the summer of 2020. The sheer exhaustion of being too much from being the entertainer, educator, and provider of regular meals while holding on to the strands of her own free will and ambition.
This is a painting about the overwhelm of the experience of mothering.
